My former colleague and excellent superstar librarian friend Meena Jain, director of Natick's Bacon Free Public Library, has a wildly popular fundraiser on the horizon for her library.
"NATICK – When Bacon Free Library’s Board of Trustees decided on a children’s illustrators' auction for a fundraiser, organizers thought it would attract items from an array of Massachusetts illustrators.
They never expected it would go international and reach two former presidential families.
“People came out of the woodwork,” said Meena Jain, the library director. “What started out as a local auction has become this almost international one.”
