Outsourcing by Abusing H1-B Visas
I heard a terrible story on the news today about companies that outsource American jobs to foreign works using by abusing the H1-B work visas. Not only do they lay off workers to hire foreign workers, they abuse the H1-B work visa program, make the laid-off workers train their replacements and then make them sign non-disclosure agreements which revoke their severance pay if they violate the terms, so that the companies do not get caught. One worker decided he could live without the severance, as a young and single person, so he blew the whistle on the story. This story pretty much involves everything wrong with upper corporate management abuse.
