ENF(J)P - Jung Typology Test at HumanMetrics

My Results from the Humanmetrics Jung Typology Test

Well, this is very close to what I got the first time I took this test, in my Women's Studies Minor capstone class in 1999. This time I got ENFP, last time I was an ENFJ though -- I am only 3% off from "J" so overall the result didn't change, it's just the percentages that have. The first time around? 100% extrovert! Ha! I think as I've gotten more into doing my creative artsy stuff, I've come to appreciate the alone time, but even when I do that, I usually like to be out and about, at the local café or something, for what I like to call "productive distraction." Ha! I am an extrovert, that's true. That's why I love my shifts on the circ desk most of all the things I have to do for my job! However, because I am moderate in the N/S, F/T and J/P aspects, that makes me good at managing the course evaluation process because it takes both minute attention to really boring details and some out of the box thinking to handle the gabillion peccadillos involved with the process.

For this result I was thinking more in terms of library work. I wondered if the results would be different if I was thinking instead about me not in a working context but in very personal terms. There are some things where I picked the middle or the less passionate no over NO because I've learned to be different from my nature over time because I find that to be better for operating in the real world -- I'm sure everyone learns these lessons as time goes on...UPDATE: When I re-took the test and thought about my answers in the context of non-work life more than work life, I got ENFJ -- but again only at #5 deviation from P. I was a little less Intuitive and a little more Feeling. Still 63% extravert. Ha. Hm.
