Major Takeaways from My Management 101 Course
My favorite part of the course was learning about the types of corporate or organizational culture: adaptability culture; achievement culture; involvement culture; consistency culture. Once I learned of this I was able to see why past work experiences were more or less enjoyable for me considering my personality types.
If I could, I would recommend that all education and even liberal arts majors take a management course. These are basic skills that are helpful to know about in all kinds of situations, because whether or not you are interested in management, you still have to be managed by someone, even if you're not interested in taking the leadership role.
