Happy First Day of the Fall 2016 Semester!
I jumped on that bandwagon and made my own "First Day of School" picture, complete with message on piece of paper.
My First Day of School Stats
- First Day of School: 9-6-2016
- My FIFTEENTH academic year working at a school/academic library.
- I am 38 years old. (Really! I know I look much younger though.)
- My favorite books: Pride and Prejudice and Cultural Affairs in Boston: Poetry and Prose 1956-1985.
You have to count the two years of work study at UMaine, but once you do, that's where I'm at: fifteen years!
Here's the breakdown:
96-97 UMaine Fogler Library's "Listening Center" - this was the place where music was stored, but also new media and ECE books (1)
00-01 UMaine Fogler Library's "Listening Center" (2)
04-06 Nokomis Regional High School Library Media Center (3-4)
06-07 Fontbonne Academy (5)
08-13 MassBay Library Framingham Campus Eve/Weekend Library Assistant (6-12)
13-present MassBay (13-15)
Here's to the next fifteen! I wonder what they'll entail?
